Mr. Frogman thinks that showing me something at the last minute is going to get himself into less trouble. When he was in second grade he waited until right before the bus arrived to show me a playground slip that had to be signed. I gotta love it. Last week it was a t-shirt order form for a camp he is going to attend in May, the t-shirt order had to be in that day with the payment and he received it a week ago. What next?!?!?
I had to ask, eh? He just rushed in to inform me that report cards are out and he wanted me to look it over and sign it, he had to turn it in tomorrow, and he was headed into the shower. I chuckled as the shower started and opened his report card. What he didn't notice was the fact that I had already signed his report card envelope. I knew they were out. He came out of the shower...."Mom, how did I do?" I looked at him and smiled. He did very well and has improved in several areas. Iam very proud and impressed with how well he did. Now if I could only get the folder organized and the homework home each night.
The wonderful challenges of being a parent.
