My family, it never fails. Every family meal we have we always have a ton of laughs. It is what we all enjoy. My family is filled with alot of quick witted individuals who, sit back at the table after the meal and talk about (very quickly) all sorts of topics from something serious that will bounce into something very humorous and then back to serious again.
One example of this today was we were talking about my mom/sisters cat missing. My mom commented about the cat leaving due to he was mating up the road (great, just what we need a cat who can't get enough). With all the road construction going on in their area we were talking about the cat doing the Happy Garfield dance in the middle of the road after being satisfied and getting hit by a car. I commented that well at least he would have a few more lives and a few more chances at "happiness". You had to be there but according to Peacemaker he was getting his piece of tail. I could come up with many other comments to go along with this but this really isn't appropriate. This was better than having everyone sit around the table burping and farting.
My Uncle broke in with a comment about the NSA. Being that he doesnt get very many visitors to his house that when he is on the phone to mention recent events and people in Iraq several times and the NSA would probably pay him a visit and he would finally have some company.
My uncle, is my uncle very unique. Most people would call him weird but he is smart, funny and a big kid too! He once called me his favorite niece....he only has 12 or more of them. Everytime I call him I tell him it's his favorite niece on the phone. I don't think he is sure of who is calling since I think he refers to all of his nieces as "darlin'" and his favorite niece. But you can't help but love him anyway. :)
