Dating!

Being single for the past 4 years has opened my eyes to many things. I have gone out on many dates and they were of course first and last ones. It is absolutely amazing. I am not one who thinks the man should ask the woman out. I have asked men out too. I am wondering if men think women are desparate because they are. I do not believe the man should have to pay for everything either. Being somewhat old fashioned I do believe a guy needs to get the door, and be a gentleman among other things.

Not to mention the location of where they ask you out. I once had a guy talk to me walking around the entire grocery store. It was a bit disconcerting when I stopped for womens feminine products that he stood there and asked if I wanted to have dinner sometime. I am in mid reach to put a package in my cart and he is asking me on a date....Did he have no clue? Did he think I was stocking up for the future? Did he have any clue as to how freaky it is to be asked out in the pad and tampon aisle? My first thought was he is really sick..then I thought some more...he was really sick, he was desparate, or he was so completely blinded by my beauty it didn't matter where we were.....(LOL). If you know me you know why I'm laughing at that last one.

In todays dating it's no longer how are you. It's can I see two forms of ID? Your health card. What do you do for a living? Can I get a copy of your last 2 years w-2’s, your last months worth of pay stubs, your social security number and current address so I can access your credit history, a certified copy of your DMV report dated no later than 5 days from the date requested, and the same information from all previous spouses and serious girl/boy friends? Not only does it seem you are required to give up this information but no one will talk to you unless you do. Egads!! Is it worth it? .
