3 Days and Counting!!

Only 3 more days and he is going to be home. Only 3 can you believe it? I am so excited.

I was so excited for school to be out and I know Mr. Frogman was too...I don't know, however, if he was more excited than I was. Now I don't know who is more excited about school starting, him or me. :) It has been too long of a summer with him at his dads. But he is in for a big surprise when he comes home.

We have moved into a wonderful house that we are gradually making into our home. It's coming along one room at a time. I actually have a kitchen! No more boxes. Everything has a place and I will be able to cook in no time at all without having to dance around boxes and packages.

The living room is coming along nicely. It has no more boxes, just some random clutter and a little more rearranging, then I can hang art work. We are still discussing where to hang family and friend photos, as well as, other things that mean something to us. The art of negotiation in this household is being tested as we go through creating a comfortable living environment. Not to mention that we are combining 3 households into one so we are having to compromise as well.
My next step is moving all the stuff out of and around the dining room so that we can actually eat at the table rather than converge on the small table in the living room that we have to sit on the hard woods to actually get to a level where you can actually eat. It's rather hard on the knees or the back end depending on how you sit. It's time to actually eat at the table and become a family rather than individuals who stare at the tv to eat and then not get very much eating done. We don't actually turn the tv on when we eat but I don't like the idea of eating in the living room. We have a table and chairs and it's time we started using them properly. By tomorrow night we will have it set up and ready to go.

By tomorrow night I will have that final room and the upstairs bedroom that I now share with Wolfman that currently has his king size bed, my queen size bed and an office in set up and mostly usable with my wireless internet ready to go. Then I can sit in my room and actually work when I need to without being completely interrupted by everyone walking through and asking questions. It will definitely be a task since most everything in the dining room is boxed and needs to be gone through before we can put it in the correct location in the house. You know how it goes. The joys of moving and getting completely moved in. **Sigh** Almost done.

Wish me luck as I start to unpack in the wild unknown!
